Candida cleansing can be quite tricky as yeast infections have a tendency to come back again after the cure, especially when using cream, suppository, etc for 1-2 weeks. |

Candida cleansing must address the root cause of your yeast infection. Candida cleanses only sorting out the symptoms will likely just gloss over the problem for now and your thrush may recur in a while. The root cause of a yeast infection can be diet, weak immune defence etc and changes here are necessary for successful candida cleansing. Using anti-fungal medicine like creams or suppositories will remove the problem initially but you do need to look at your diet and lifestyle as well to make sure the yeast infection (thrush) will not come back over and over again. Candida cleansing by modifying your diet is probably necessary - avoid foods that you know will trigger your thrush - it can be anything with a lot of sugar, bread (sourdough is usually ok, it's the white bread that is the culprit), wine or anything to do with yeast in its production. Also avoid other things you know will trigger it like chemicals and other substances such as car exhausts, preservatives etc. Avoid spores and yeast in the surrounding air, caused by moldy wet areas in your house etc. Build up your immune system by exercising and general strengthening of your mental health (try Yoga!).
